When you’re best and closest friend of 18+ years asks if you will take her granddaughter’s “flat Stanley” on a tour, you can’t disappoint her or her grand daughter. These are the […]
What can I say about Australia? To the date of this post, I’ve traveled: – 14,800 km (9,200 miles) by car – 387 km (241 miles) by foot – visited 4 of […]
I have a group of friends, aka THE BAND\, and I miss them. I miss them. A LOT. Through ups and downs, the drunken fights and drunken nights and the good significant others and bad significant others we have always remained friends. They will always be my baby bros or sis’ or baby bears (depending on the succession of where you landed in my life).
As 2015 kicks off, I have one target that has consumed me since January 3, 2012: Australia (and if I’m completely honest, it was even prior to that date, but that was the date of my flight back to the US from my 3 weeks in Australia.) While I was on the flight back to the US, my friend Heather said that I seemed sad, and sad was not even close to describing what I was feeling.

The only way that message would have been topped was if it had said: Merry Fuckin Christmas Y’all.

I have a love for Australia. I don’t know where it came from or exactly why it’s that beautiful country, but I want to expatriate myself there (like yesterday). This is one […]
I rang 2012 in Bondi (Australia). I rang 2013 in Detroit, MI. One was sunshine with sandy beaches. One was gray skies and melting snow. Both were places I never I imagined […]
This is a perfect home to me. I like simple living. When I moved from 418 to 470, I got ride of 70% of everything I owned. Books, furniture, clothing, knick knacks, […]
